Jovita Joachim Nsumilinda serves as a Partnerships and Business Development Officer in Tanzania. In this role, she works with partners and farmer groups to expand access to irrigation pumps and strengthen agricultural value chains that support smallholder incomes and food security.

Jovita holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Sokoine University of Agriculture. She brings more than 10 years of experience in rural agricultural development, with expertise in seed production and marketing, crop production, and value chain development. Her work has included promoting improved seeds, mechanization, environmental management, and agricultural practices that strengthen farm productivity and resilience.

Prior to joining KickStart, Jovita worked with Africasia Seed Company, the African Agricultural Technology Foundation (AATF), and Relief to Development Society, contributing to seed sector development and farmer-focused agricultural initiatives.
