In her role as a Partnerships and Business Development Officer, Flora Manuel Tacaiacuo works with local partners and communities to expand access to affordable irrigation pumps for smallholder farmers and strengthen collaboration across the region.

Flora holds a degree in Economics from the Polytechnic University of Maputo. She began her career as a social activist with Geração Bizz, supporting young people and teenagers on issues related to sexual and reproductive health. She later worked as a secretary at Solidariedade Nampula, helping organize donations for orphaned children, and as an administrative assistant at Wunua Microcredit.

In addition to her professional experience, Flora has hands-on farming experience as a vegetable producer on her own field.
