Business Development & Partnerships Officer

Northern Zambia

As a Partnership & Business Development Officer in Zambia, Caren Ng’andu supports engagement across Muchinga, Luapula, Northern, and parts of Central Province. She works closely with cooperatives, local organizations, and private sector partners to expand access to affordable irrigation pumps for smallholder farmers, strengthen strategic partnerships, and grow sustainable market opportunities.

Caren brings more than eight years of experience across marketing, sales, communications, and resource mobilization. She previously served as a Depot Sales and Marketing Supervisor at National Milling Corporation Ltd and as an Advisor for Marketing, Customer Service, and Communications with VisionFund Zambia, an affiliate of World Vision Zambia, where she strengthened stakeholder engagement and community-focused initiatives. She also held the role of Country Marketing Representative for Betta1 Zambia Ltd, and volunteered as a Resource Mobilization Coordinator for young African women at Leadership Zambia, deepening her expertise in partnership development and fundraising.

Caren holds a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies (Second Class Honors, First Division), an Advanced Diploma in Business Management (ABE Pathway), and a Professional Certificate in Digital Marketing from the Zambia Institute of Marketing.
