Timothy Wabukoti

Country Manager, Uganda

Kampala, Uganda

Timothy Wabukoti has spent more than a decade working at the intersection of development and sales, helping to grow inclusive agricultural markets across Uganda.

Since 2019, he has served as Country Manager for KickStart International in Uganda, where he leads national efforts to promote affordable, climate-smart irrigation solutions for smallholder farmers—with a focus on youth and women. Under his leadership, KickStart Uganda has expanded its footprint through strategic partnerships with NGOs, SACCOs, and government agencies, strengthening smallholder resilience, income generation, and food security.

Prior to KickStart, Timothy built a foundation in sales and marketing management, working with global brands such as Unilever, Somochem Uganda Ltd, and British American Tobacco Uganda. In these roles, he specialized in route-to-market strategy, trade marketing, and team leadership, consistently achieving growth in brand market share and distributor profitability.

Timothy holds a Master of Sustainable Development Practice from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from Uganda Management Institute, and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science Technology and Management from Kyambogo University, Kampala.

He is a recipient of the Nudge Global Impact Award for his project “Zero Hunger for Refugees in Northern Uganda,” recognized for advancing inclusive and sustainable food systems.
