Mercy has been part of KickStart’s supply chain logistics team since 1997, and has been leading the organization’s strategic expansion across sub-Saharan Africa since 2013. She has nearly 20 years of experience working in business and sales; planning and forecasting; inventory, warehouse and vendors management; logistics and distribution. Mercy has ensured an effective supply chain as KickStart has expanded to serve 17 countries, improving performance and efficiency in reporting and decision-making. She has been instrumental in the ERP implementation and documentation of inventory management, resource planning and forecasting modules.
Prior to her time at KickStart, Mercy worked for Action Aid – Kenya in warehousing and procurement management. Mercy holds a Bachelor Degree of Business Management in Purchasing & Supplies Management from Moi University, as well as CPA certifications and a diploma in Purchasing & Supplies Management from the College of Kenya Institute of Business Management. She is also certified by Kenya Institute of Supplies Management and an active member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.
