Brou Etienne Tchiebley is the Country Manager for KickStart International in Senegal, where he leads strategic development, partnerships, and operational management. Drawing on more than 16 years of multidisciplinary experience across West and East Africa, Etienne brings expertise in solar energy, agriculture, finance, marketing, and technical operations.

Fluent in both French and English, Etienne is known for his collaborative leadership and ability to navigate diverse business environments—from consumer markets to government partnerships. Since joining KickStart, he has played a key role in expanding the organization’s presence in Senegal, building local relationships, and advancing access to affordable irrigation for smallholder farmers.

Before joining KickStart, Etienne worked as a senior business developer with AMRA Senegal, supporting business growth, partnerships, and climate-focused projects. He also served as a trade finance consultant with Euro Exim Bank in Senegal, contributing to customer acquisition and the development of new banking products. As Program Director for myAgro Senegal, he oversaw national operations and led strategy, government relations, and organizational development. He also previously managed projects in the digital decoder sector with CAME Ltd in Togo, Ghana.

Trained in lift engineering and passionate about sustainable development, Etienne brings a versatile, people-centered approach to his work. He is widely respected for his cross-cultural fluency, strategic insight, and commitment to driving inclusive growth across the continent.
