Silvanos joined KickStart in 2018 as Mozambique Country Manager. Silvanos leads partnership, programming and outreach efforts in Mozambique, while developing, expanding, and reporting on program activities and donor funded projects. He majorly contributed to KickStart’s Livelihoods Recovery response to Cyclone Idai in 2019, which devastated the harvests of smallholder farmers in affected areas.
Before joining the team, Silvanos gained over 14 years of sales experience, working across retail, building supplies and farming equipment sectors in both Zimbabwe and Mozambique. He obtained his Bachelor’s of Commerce in Economics from the Midlands State University in Zimbabwe and his Master’s of Business Administration from the Zimbabwe Open University.
